You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

WHERE WE SEND YOUR DATA

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

WHAT DATA BREACH PROCEDURES WE HAVE IN PLACE

Personal data breaches will be handled by the Data Controller or his/her delegate.

In the event of a concrete, suspected, and/or actual personal data breach, it is of utmost importance to ensure that it is addressed immediately and correctly in order to minimize the impact of the breach and prevent its recurrence.

Once it has been determined that a Data Breach is involved, the Data Controller or his delegate together with the Data Protection Officer (if designated) will need to determine:

  • whether there are actions that would limit the damage the breach could cause (i.e., repairing physical instrumentation; use of back up files to recover lost or damaged data; isolation/closure of a compromised sector of the network; modification of access codes...etc.);
  • once these actions have been identified, what parties need to take action to contain the breach;
  • whether it is necessary to notify the Data Protection Authority of the breach (where it is likely that the breach presents a risk to the rights and freedoms of individuals);
  • Whether it is necessary to notify the data subjects of the breach (where the breach presents a high risk to the rights and freedoms of natural persons).
